Evan Spencer is the Owner and a professional piercer at Hummingbird. Evan has been piercing and managing Enigma Professional Piercing Studios for the last 15 years. Evan has now partnered with Enigma to create Hummingbird, a professional piercing studio set in the heart of La Jolla, California. Evan has been a member of the Association of Professional Piercers for 20 years. Piercing now for 22 years, he is known for his precision, professionalism, and approachable demeanor, Evan ensures every client has a safe and comfortable experience while helping them achieve their ideal look. Focused on guiding clients thru the piercing process, Evan prides himself in facilitating relaxed, comfortable experiences while working to alleviate any anxieties clients may have about the piercing experience. Passionate about piercing, connecting with clients, and high end jewelry, he stays dedicated to maintaining Enigma and now Hummingirds reputation for excellence and high standards.
When not in the studio, Evan is a dedicated cat dad to his two sweet babies, and enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife. He loves and values his clients, and always enjoys running into the folks he’s pierced outside of work, whether that happens to be at a coffee shop, or a hiking trail, it never gets old.

Didier Suarez is the owner of Enigma Professional Piercing Studios in San Diego, California, where he has built a reputation for excellence in the art of piercing. Former Vice President of the Association of Professional Piercings, Didier has been in the body piercing industry of over 30 years. Under his leadership, Enigma has become a trusted destination for those seeking to express their personal style through custom piercings. Passionate about his craft and the local community, Didier stays inspired by San Diego’s vibrant art scene and the evolving trends in piercing.

Jenna Bee
PIERCER
Jenna has been a professional body piercer for 10 years, and is fiercely passionate about her career. She became a member of the Association of Professional Piercers in 2018. She is also an Applied Jewelry Professional graduate from the Gemological Institute of America.
Jenna is a full service piercer offering all facial, ear, body, and vulva piercings. Shes a sucker for ear curations, symmetry and another favorite of hers are nostril piercings.
She takes the safety and well-being of each person that she gets the opportunity to work with quite seriously and her encouraging demeanor will make for a super relaxed and positive experience.
Originally a Midwest princess, Jenna started piercing in Wisconsin in 2015. She opened her own piercing studio in 2020, Celestial Piercing, which she now runs remotely. She travels back a few times a year to check in with business and visit friends and family.
Outside of work life, Jenna’s often on motorcycle adventures with her partner Dan, doing crafts at home, or spending time outdoors. Jenna’s a proud momma to a teen, 3 cats (Poe, Frog and Onyx), and a pup named Lupin.
